THE place I live in faces the east and I am lucky to have a view of the sunrise. The morning sun is great company during breakfast. It cheers me up and cheerful is the right attitude to start the day.

Pineapple grower, Dole Philippines, can bring sunshine on our tables at time of day. How? Recently, the company showed its trade partners—restaurateurs, chefs, bakers and friends from the media, how everyone can make it happen.

The fruit grower prides itself of quality pineapples grown in the best environment—good soil, proper watering and care and best of all, plenty of sunshine. It’s same sunshine that nurtured the fruit to its finest that will bring the healthy rays to your tables.

Dole invited two chefs to create a complete meal using the fruits grown by the company. Chef Ingrid Mediarito worked the wok to come up with the soup, appetizers and main courses while Pastry Chef RV Manabat whipped up an array of desserts.

At the same affair, Dole launched its newest product — the All Natural Pineapple Juice Concentrate to its trade partners. The concentrated pineapple juice is made from all natural ingredients, contains no artificial flavors, no preservatives and no artificial sweeteners.

The easy-to-prepare pineapple juice is packed with Vitamin C. It’s a healthy beverage and a wise choice of drink to accompany any meal.

Sunshine, that’s what we had for dinner that evening. It tasted delicious!
