Kris Aquino drops hints about reunion with Star Cinema

ON APRIL 4, the former ABS-CBN actress shared a collage of her past Star Cinema movie posters on Instagram. Kris mentioned about the possibility of having a "reunion." Once again Kris dropped hints about working with Star Cinema.

She wrote in the caption: "Promised myself to share no details, I've learned the hard way. Until I'm actually on set, it is best to keep details. No matter how share-worthy, they are strictly confined to my sons and my team."

Kris said that her youngest son, Bimby, influenced her a lot in making this decision.

"All I can say is that while deciding-I listened closest to 1 person, my bunso who turns 11 in 15 days. Bimb said, 'Mama, this is like us visiting family, like a reunion. We have our KCAP team and now, for a few months, we get to be with the people who all knew me since I was born and we missed them. So please say yes?' So yes, love does lead you back."

Her post featuring posters of her movies with ABS-CBN's film production arm has been deleted but there were those who were able to grab screenshots.

Pandan, Antique Mayor Jonathan Tan, together with girlfriend Bianca Manalo and other friends gave details over Radyo Todo Aklan on how their boat going to Mararison Island capsized.

"We are on our way to Mararison with my friends, 'tapos biglang on our way there from Pandan to Mararison, okey naman yung ano ng dagat. But after thirty minutes, on our way there, tatlong malakas na alon, pumasok yung tubig. Pero split second, I think mga 15 seconds, tumaob kami."

Mayor Tan brought Bianca's group to Mararison to promote tourism,

"[I am with] my friends, ang tao ko and yung cousin ko na namatay, first cousin ko siya, si Bennie Dable. Bianca and Ehra, they were with me and the husband of Ehra, si Tom Yeung. First time because, siyempre, we are promoting tourism. At the same time, gusto nila magbakasyon at makita kung gaano kaganda yung Mararison, so dinala ko sila doon."

Bianca, former Bb Pilipinas-Universe is Mayor Tan's current girlfriend.

In his statement Mayor Tan gave details on what really happened: “The speedboat came from here, Pandan. Fifteen seconds, tumaob yung speedboat.

'Tapos, the problem there, yung life vests, nakatali. May life vest, pero hindi namin nasuot. Ang bilis, e. Taob, as in taob! Pagtaob niya, lahat nakahawak.

“So what I did, may nakita akong container jar, kinuha ko, 'tapos yung isang life vest doon na nakatali, kinuha ko, and then I swam from there to the shore. May nakita ako na shore, pero malayo, siguro four kilometers... three kilometers. Medyo malayo talaga. It took me two and a half hours, nag-swimming ako, two and a half hours, to get there, to ask for help. Kasi kung hindi ko gagawin yun, instinct, e, lahat kami mamamatay. "Malayo sila, nakakapit sila sa speedboat before I left. I made sure, nakahawak sila. Instinct na yun, wala na akong alam gawin kundi to look for a rescue. By doing that, I need to swim."

Mayor Tan sought the help of our Lord to save him and to save the rest of his companions.

"I was praying to God, I’m asking for help God, protection and everything. Si Torreb [Torrebeo Barrientos], dalawa kami...I’m supposed to go there [alone], sabi niya, 'Samahan kita, buddy-buddy tayo.' So, we’re praying. Ako, ang prayer ko, sabi ko,

“'God... I don’t wanna be selfish. I-save mo ako para ma-save ko sila.”

“Sumusuka ako limang beses, pero laban talaga. Sa awa ng Diyos, before mga 200 meters, sumisigaw na kami. May isang boat na dumating, sinundo kami, and then pagsundo sa amin, bumalik kami ng shore. Nagpakilala ako, nagpahingi ng tulong, at sinabi ko, may walo pa doon. So, sumakay ako ng malaking pump boat, dumiretso kami doon para i-save sila.”

The mayor admitted he feared for his companion's lives.

"Sumama ako to locate them, hindi alam ng fishermen kung nasaan sila. Sabi ko nga, noong papunta ako ng shore, lumalangoy ako ng two and a half hours, hindi ako umiiyak, e. Umiyak ako noong pabalik, kasi yung fear ko, 'Nandiyan pa ba sila?' Two and a half hours, maalon, hindi ko alam kung nandoon pa sila. When I went back, happily, luckily, salamat sa Diyos, nakita namin sila."

Unfortunately, one in the group died.

"Sad to say, yung cousin ko, hindi ko ini-expect na siya pa yung namatay. Kasi, may 8 and 12 years old kami na mga batang babae, hindi rin marunong lumangoy, pero nag-survive. And then, I found out—of course, after mag-usap-usap kami—he died because of heart attack or stroke. Bumula yung bibig, e.

Even si Bianca, sinabi, parang they were thinking kung patay na ako. Ang tagal, e, two and a half hours. So, sa utak nila, kung patay na ako, di sila rin mamamatay na rin sila, kasi wala na yung boat. Siguro mga thirty minutes, one hour, lulubog na. Can you imagine, ganito tumaob and then tip na lang ang natira? Malakas yung waves, kapit na lang talaga. Wala, tragic talaga yung nangyari. Second life na talaga namin. Unti now, nagko-cope up rin kami, trauma pa rin, what really happened."
