Labung is senior board member anew

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO- For the second time, re-elected Third District Board Member Ferdinand "Dinan" P. Labung is senior board member.

This, after Labung got the overall highest votes in all four districts of Pampanga and was ranked number one by the provincial Commission on Elections and the Department of Interior and Local Government here.

According to records obtain by Sun.Star Pampanga , Labung got 155,621 votes in his district, the highest votes obtained by a candidate for board member in the entire province.

Labung was also senior board member in 2013.

"Dakal pung salamat kareng ka-distrito ku king kekayung pepakit a tiwala, malasakit at supporta kaku. Maka asa kayu na higitan ku pa ing pamagserbisyu kareng kabalen tamu king Arayat, Sta.Ana, Mexico, Bacolor at Siyudad San Fernando (Thank you for your trust. Rest assured I would double my services to our cabalens in Arayat, Sta.Ana, Mexico, Bacolor and City of San Fernando)," Labung said.

Labung, the interim President of the Provincial Board Members League of the Philippines, is a long time public servant and community leader having been elected as the youngest barangay chairman of his home barangay in San Antonio, Bacolor and three term board member from 1998 to 2001, 2001 to 2004 and 2013 to 2016.

The 57-year old licensed civil and sanitary engineer from the National University is the owner of Lucky Star Construction and Trading.

Labung is also the president of the Association of Pampanga Contractors Inc. and member of PICE, PSSE, Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. and Rotary Club of Villa de Bacolor.

In the administration of Governor Lilia Pineda and Vice-Governor Dennis Pineda, Labung carried out his duties as acting governor and acting vice governor in the absence of the two highest officials in the province.
