THE Hugpong sa Tawong Lungsod party has yet to consult its members on its political plans in the upcoming 2016 local elections.
But the local political party, founded by Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, will definitely field its complete line-up of candidates for the city's elective posts.
City Administrator Melchor Quitain, Hugpong's secretary general, said: "Wala pa, so far. We will just wait instructions from the city mayor."
Although there are no formal talks yet as to the line-up of Hugpong, Quitain said "everything is doable."
The elder Duterte said he wants his daughter, former mayor Sara Duterte Carpio, to run as city mayor.
The Commission on Elections scheduled the start of the filing of the certificate of candidacy for local bets in October this year. (ANC)
