Mayette Q. Tabada teaches full-time with the Mass Communication program of the University of the Philippines (UP) Cebu. Since June 2012, she is on a fellowship at UP Diliman, taking Master of Arts in Journalism studies. She is a Communication Arts graduate, cum laude, of UP Cebu. She contributes to Vera Files and Sun.Star Cebu, where she writes a Sunday column, “Matamata,” Monday editorial on social issues, and features. She is the mother of Carlos and Juan, and wife of Roy. Her interests are reading and research.
