Plan for new district revived

TEAM Rama of Mayor Michael Rama is reviving the proposal to create a third legislative district in Cebu City.

Atty. Aristotle Batuhan, the group’s south district congressional candidate, said he will sponsor a bill creating the new district if he wins in next year’s elections.

NEWS has reached the Bando Osmeña Pundok Kauswagan (BOPK) that members of Team Rama, including Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama, have been attending the groundbreaking of barangay projects funded by the City Government.

The Alta Vista Golf and Country Club Inc. in Barangay Pardo filed the mandamus and damages against Villarete for honoring the payment of delinquent taxpayers despite the lapse of time.
