TEAM Rama of Mayor Michael Rama is reviving the proposal to create a third legislative district in Cebu City.
Atty. Aristotle Batuhan, the group’s south district congressional candidate, said he will sponsor a bill creating the new district if he wins in next year’s elections.
NEWS has reached the Bando Osmeña Pundok Kauswagan (BOPK) that members of Team Rama, including Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama, have been attending the groundbreaking of barangay projects funded by the City Government.
The political party of Rep. Tomas Osmeña (Cebu City, south district), who is facing Rama in the mayoral elections next year, pointed out the projects are funded by the City, not Team Rama.
“WE HAVE no malicious intentions,” said Rolando Llaguno, head of the Cebu City Office of the Senior Citizens’ Affairs (Osca).
