JOINT personnel from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Davao region and Philippine Air Force (PAF) arrested two big time drug pushers in a buy-bust operation in Tulip Drive, Barangay 76-A on Wednesday.
TWO houses were robbed in separate incidents in Davao City on Wednesday, victimizing an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) and an employee of a gasoline station.
The first incident happened around 7 a.m. at Purok San Lorenzo, Buhangin. The victim was identified as Joan Maquiling del Mondo, a 26-year-old OFW and a renter of #0407 Sto. Niño St.
THE Davao City Police Office (DCPO) recorded a slight increase in the crime volume for the first quarter of 2013 compared to same period last year.
Based on the data gathered by the DCPO-Investigation and Detection Management Branch, the Davao police office tallied a total of 2,863 crime incidents, or a 5.25 percent increase compared to last year's total of 2,689 in the first three months.
