2 divers found dead inside sunken vessel
A DAY after they went missing, the bodies of two divers were found yesterday by the Philippine Coast Guard inside a sunken vessel off the coast of Barangay Canjulao in Lapu-Lapu City.
Alger Sumaylo and Glenn Pahit were employed by the salvaging company that has been trying to refloat a vessel that capsized in the area in July last year.
Duke condemns killing of kin, asks cops to solve crime
MAYOR Vincent Franco “Duke” Frasco of Liloan, Cebu condemned the killing of his uncle outside a store in the town proper last Tuesday morning.

The team, led by SPO2 Marlon Mendoza, arrested Huglay Lim, 42, years old a resident of Mambaling Cebu City by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Ramon Codilla Jr. of the Regional Trial Court Branch 19.
Centcom owns recovered bomb
CENTRAL Command Authorities admitted owning the C4 explosive that was recovered by the chief mate of Star Craft 2 inside the commercial vessel last Nov. 1.
Centcom spokesperson Lt. Col. Christopher Tampus told Sun.Star Cebu, the explosive was used as a training tool during last month’s Explosive Identifications Training attended by Special Forces held in the town of Sogod, Cebu.

P400,000 of ‘shabu’ seized
ELEMENTS of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA7) arrested a level one drug pusher after selling approximately P400,000 worth of methampethamine hydrochloride or shabu to an undercover agent in a buy-bust operation early morning yesterday.
PDEA Assistant Regional Director Levi Ortiz said approximately 55 grams of shabu were recovered from Gerald Baguio alias “Intsik” during a raid on his house in Sitio Hawud, Barangay Bulacao in Talisay City.
