Carp beneficiaries get medical aid

Dumaguete among new wave cities
THE City Government of Dumaguete was recognized as one of the top 10 new “Next Wave Cities” for outsourcing locations in the Philippines.
The recognition was given by the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Office and the Information Technology and Business Process Association (ITBPA) of the Philippines for being one of the Top 10 Next Wave Cities for the year 2012, according to Syril Repe of the city government of Dumaguete.
Degamo, Macias proclaimed
INCUMBENT governor Roel Degamo and vice governor Mark Macias were proclaimed as Negros Oriental governor and vice governor, respectively, at the Session Hall of the Provincial Board Friday afternoon.
Governor Degamo obtained the highest votes against his opponents Negros Oriental Representative Jocelyn Limkaichong (1st district) and former finance secretary Margarito Teves.
