Families in Davao City ‘don’t experience hunger’
THE City Health Office (CHO) said families in Davao City generally don’t experience hunger.
Vangie Genete, officer in charge of the Nutrition Division of the CHO, said on Thursday that despite cases of malnutrition recorded in some parts of the city, this does not mean that there are families in the city that experience hunger.

Survey: 1.4M families in M'danao experience hunger
WHILE the number of Filipino families experiencing hunger across the country decreased by almost 1 million families in late May, the number of hungry families in Mindanao is dramatically increasing, a recent report from the Social Weather Stations (SWS) showed.
SWS revealed in its report that the overall hunger rate in Mindanao rose almost two points to 28.3 percent, which translates to approximately 1.4 million families.
