IN TODAY’S high-tech world, lengthy handwritten letters are a rarity. E-mail, text messages, Viber and Facebook Messenges have replaced handwritten letters. I feel however that electronic communication is a little impersonal.
THE availability of clean, potable water is diminishing. Many of our rivers, traditional sources of clean water, are now polluted. We rely heavily on underground sources, but the problem is that our groundwater aquifers are receding.
