TEN Squads will suit up for the forthcoming 2nd Jo Tankers Philippines, Inc. 9 A-Side Invitational Football Festival on February 20 at John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation (JBLCF)-Bacolod football pitch.
Confirmed teams are the Domingo Lacson National High School, Carlos Hilado Memorial State College-Talisay City, Negros United FC, JBLCF Mens Football Team (A & B), JBLCF Odfjell Team, JBLCF-NSA Team, Real Negrense FC, West Negros University-Integrated School and host, Jo Tankers Team (A & B).
Don Bosco Technical Institute was earlier part of the list however later declined because of the National Achievement Test preparation, said general coordinator Warren Concepcion.
Concepcion said the event will be graced by Captain Rene Kruidenier; Captain Reynaldo Alinea from Jo Tankers Philippines, Manila; Captain Luis G. Evidente, the Administrator of JBLCF-Bacolod; 2M Rudy Gonzaga-Shipboard Training Officer of JBLCF-Bacolod; Mr. Rexenel Ibardolaza-Student Activity Coordinator of JBLCF-Bacolod, and Mr. Argie Gallego-Jo Tankers Dorm master.
He further added that Jo Tankers Philippines, Inc. had longed been in partnership with John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation-Bacolod, Inc. providing scholarship grants to deserving students who want to become future seafarers.
For the last nine years, JBLCF continues its thrust in developing and preparing their cadets in becoming competent, skilled and well-rounded individuals.
And as part of their development program, the company believes that sports and physical development plays a very important role in the lives of their cadets.
