This when Division II (LGU/clubs) hostilities of the 2nd Negros Basketball Association (NBA) Governor Isidro Zayco Cup Open Invitational Tournament reels off starting with traditional opening ceremonies scheduled at 1:30 p.m. with Governor Zayco himself as the invited guest speaker.

The featured Division II opening game Saturday is between the Cadiz City Whales and pre-tournament favorite DPWH scheduled at 2:30 p.m.
In the main game at 3:45 p.m. is a Division I clash between defending champion and powerhouse Ticel/ABS-CBN Ang Kapamilya/Skycable versus the Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod Eagles.
Ticel, mentored by former Negros Slasher Mawi Huelar, parades a line-up bannered by former PBA standouts Tonyboy Espinosa, Joey Santamaria and Matt Makalintal backed by Edu Allado, former FEU Tamaraw Rhagnee Sinco, as well as ex-West Negros University Mustangs Roel Balgos, Ely Olarte and Vengie Vergara.
Meanwhile, fancied DPWH, the squad mentored by playing coach and former PBA campaigner Vernie Villarias, is composed of Marlon Talatala, Rene Divinagracia, Joemarie Bayhon, Richard Verayo, Rodel Canino, Ian Mark Delos Santos, Rex Duminguez, Christian Escote, Henry Agbas, Cesar Ordas, Gebgan Espiritu, Mark Ramos, Nilo Catimbag, and Michael Balbarada.
On Sunday, two Division II games are scheduled with Sharp/BUS Group going up against Cadiz City in the first game at 2:30 p.m. followed at 3:45 p.m. by DPWH versus San Agustin Alumni, while in the 5:30 p.m. main game Ticel/ABS-CBN Ang Kapamilya/Skycable takes on University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos in a Division I encounter.
