5 collared for murder, estafa



FIVE persons with arrest warrants were collared by the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office one after another in Bago and Cadiz cities and in Isabela town last Monday.

Reports reaching the Operations and Plans Branch of NOPPO revealed that Nestor Olaera Sr., 50, his son Nestor Jr., 19, and Noel Olaera, 18, all residents of Purok Martesan in Barangay Tinampaan in Cadiz City were apprehended by the local PNP for the crime of murder.

Police Chief Inspector Noel Mana-ay, chief of Cadiz City PNP, said that the Olaeras were arrested at Hacienda Carmen, Barangay Abo-abo in Murcia town morning of November 9 by virtue of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Renato Munez of Cadiz City Regional Trial Court Branch 60.

On the other hand, in Isabela town, Genofreo Deocades Jr, 37, was nabbed at Sitio Antiquera in Barangay Guintubhan for an estafa case by virtue of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Francisco Rodriguez of RTC Branch 63 in La Carlota City.

Deocades was recommended a P18, 000 bail as provisional liberty.

Another estafa case in Bago City was reported apprehended by the City Police.

Apprehended was Cyril Ramos, 49 and a resident of Celis Street in Barangay Poblacion. Judge Herminigildo Octaviano of MTCC-Bago City recommended a P12,000 bail on Octaviano.
