Eunice Gonzales, Marketing Communications director of Robinsons Mall, said that this year, Robinsons will give another exciting and memorable Christmas treat as they bring globally popular Barbie and Diamond Castle live show. This is the second time that Robinsons Mall will feature Barbie in their grand annual Christmas offering.

Known for its prestigious brand reputation and international appeal, Barbie is not a surprising choice for it has been delighting girls and ladies alike for generations. “Barbie and the Diamond Castle was our ultimate choice. From the endearing story line to the fabulous costume, our Christmas offering had been a delight for all.”

Eight characters from the story will come to life and bring this magical story about friendship and music. The characters are Barbie as Liana, Teresa as Alexa, Twins Ian and Jeremy, Lydia the evil muse, Slyder the Dragon, Melody and Troll the bridge keeper.

‘Barbie & the Diamond Castle’ is about two best friends named Liana and Alexa. One day, their simple lives changed when they were given an enchanted mirror and befriended the girl trapped inside it. To save their new friend, Liana and Alexa embark on a dangerous journey to the hidden Diamond Castle that will put their friendship to the test. But through the power of song and with the companionship of two adorable puppies, the girls face their challenges together and learn that friendship is the true treasure.

This wonderful story of Barbie & the Diamond Castle unfolds in a 30-minute musical live show set in an interactive stage complete with fascinating sights and sounds. All the cast will sing live and do some sets of dances. This is also the first time that a Barbie live show will incorporate a giant puppet dragon that stands 12 feet long and a small troll puppet that is a size of a 5 year old boy in its production. More than that, the Barbie and Teresa dresses for the show, which cost $5000, is also a proof how splendid and extravagant this production is. And the biggest news is, you can watch it for free.

Characters from this story will be played by an Australian and Filipino cast under AKS Events which especially flew in the whole production to bring this spectacular show exclusive to Robinsons Malls.  The Philippines will be their first destination stop for their Asian tour.
Catch these live shows as they embark on a tour of Robinsons Malls nationwide. Be there on December 19 (2-4 p.m.) at Forum Robinsons, December 20 (2-4 p.m.) at Robinsons Place Iloilo and December 21 (2-4 p.m.) at Robinsons Place Bacolod.
