MANY people thought it was indeed presidential sister in waiting Kris Aquino’s best ever lifetime performance when she reportedly let loose a torrent of tears, while appealing to spare her brother Sen. Benigno Aquino III from criticism following her much-publicized TV cat fight with fellow actress Ruffa Guttierez.

It may have been truly the performance of her life, a masterpiece in turning everything that happens to her into an endorsement of her brother’s candidacy, but it left many much less overwhelmed —indeed it left many with the nagging feeling that one of Kris objectives was to prove that she could turn on the waterworks as readily as Ruffa.
And that if Kris is really as truthful as she claims to be, she’d admit that she was merely using her program (for the umpteenth time) to boost her brother’s chances of winning.
Someone reacted by saying “It was just another sure way of milking the network giant for all the free media mileage the Aquinos can get.”
It’s still two months before the May polls but it can indeed be terrifying to contemplate what Kris will play in her brother’s presidency.
