Group to stage Ms. Gay MassKara

THE Bacolod Gay Association (BGA) will hold its own "Ms. Gay MassKara" pageant in October as its own way of contributing to the successful staging of the 31st MassKara festival in the city.

BGA president Norberto "Bing" Flores said that this is part of the socio-cultural activities in October.

BGA is an organization of gay beauticians in Bacolod City with numerous active and dedicated members. The association takes pride that their members are self-reliant, as they earn their own keep by working in beauty parlors and salons in the city.

"The association is strengthening its organization and raising organization equity to assist our members in establishing their own income generating activities," he said.

The group is still finalizing the list of participants and schedule of the beauty pageant.
