IF YOU haven't seen in yet I will strongly recommend that you take time to watch that info-mercial made for Noynoy Aquino.
It was shown the last few days in ABS-CBN's TV Patrol, but I understand the prohibitive cost of telecasting it meant that it will be shown only for a few days. No worry, however. You can always view it in You Tube.

The info-mercial is a masterpiece. The lyrics of the song which I understand was composed by Ogie Alcasid is in Tagalog, and it sends out a clear message of hope. Regine Velasquez did justice to Ogie's composition, putting her heart out when she sang "Sasamahan ka naming, kahit paligid ay madilim. Iilawan ang daan tungo sa magandang kinabukasan."
The setting, done in the dark of the night with a countryside setting, was a masterpiece in both cinematography and choreography. Done with a cast of about a hundred, it included well-known stars of both ABS CBN's Kapamilya and GMA's Kapuso family. Sharon Cuneta was there, so was Kris Aquino. Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes, both of Kapuso, were there. Regine, Ogie, Bea Alonzo, Anne Curtis, Boy Abunda, James Yap contributed to complete the cast.
More than the artistry of the info-mercial's presentation, the strongest message on endorsement for Noynoy Aquino brought was the fact that for the first time in a long while ABS-CBN and GMA, two fiercely-competing networks, allowed their stars to come together in one television production. The message of political and national unity that two-minute plug was obviously meant to convey came out very clearly. I am sure Noynoy Aquino is quite happy with it.
That info-mercial may only last less than a week on television because of the cost of telecasting it, but thanks to the internet, it has already began to take a life of its own. This morning, my Facebook already contained a number of friends who copied it from the YouTube and pasted it on their webpage (I am going to do the same). Noynoy is going to get a free and sustained publicity through the Internet and through that info-mercial for months going toward the May 2010 elections.
This May Election is becoming more and more interesting by the day.
