Officers of the KCPS Tuesday inspected a Ceres bus after receiving tips that a wanted suspect in Negros Occidental was on board, believed to have carried with him a vehicle from Bantayan in Negros Oriental.

Police operatives however did not found the said persona as tipped earlier.

To date, the province's nine cases of gun ban violations retain its status, said Police Inspector Rico Santotome Jr.

To date, per Comelec headquarters report, 17 AFP officers and 22 PNP members and 235 civilians were apprehended as gun ban violators.
