BACOLOD City and Negros Occidental will be a VROOMING destination when more than 2,000 motorcycle-riding delegates will arrive to attend the 19th Annual Convention of the National Federation of Motorcycle Clubs with a membership of more than 200 clubs around the country. It will be held on April 5–7, 2013 in Bacolod City.

With the convention site at the Capitol Lagoon, this prestigious occasion will bring in a very significant milestone for the city and province.

Taking advantage of this extraordinary exposure, PETRONAS Energy Philippines, Inc. grabbed the opportunity for its business mileage and recently it closed a deal with the hosting club Thunderbugs Bacolod Motorcycle Club to be the Diamond sponsor for the event.

Mr. Carlos Corpuz, President of PETRONAS Energy Philippines and Ms Mayenne G. Ledesma both signed the agreement with the club represented by Club Chairman Manolet Lamata, President Bingbong Escamilla and Convention Chair Lito Aves.

Witnessed by members of Thunderbugs, the official MOA signing signals the convention’s eventual success with the big support of PETRONAS to the motorcycle delegation all over the country, including riders from Sabah Malaysia confirming their attendance to the big event.
