CRISPY fresh air. Cool gentle breeze. Whispering green leaves. Cascading clear waters flowing down on seven basins. Seven? That’s quite amazing!

Amazing indeed how God has endowed our country with beautiful natural resources. From mountains down to plains, waterfalls to rivulets, ferns up to orchids, and the big “dugong” to the smallest “pandaca pygmea” can always make us glad and thankful for these gifts.

Very near or far our homes are these wondrous natural beauties we can be proud of.

Nestled in the inner recess of Tangalan town in Aklan are the breathtaking seven-basin Jawili Falls. The crystal clear waters cascade down seven low tiers of earth. What makes the place more majestic is it still is able to maintain its pristine natural beauty even with some man-made improvements. The park’s lamp-lined avenue which leads to the falls make the resort more romantic in ambiance. The native and concrete cottages near the falls offer comfortable rest and food for visitors. The guests can also take the option of walking towards the beach or up the low hill to have a better view of the grounds below.

Between the clean, deep and blue sea, and the green hills are the waters of Jawili Falls – one spectacle to behold, one natural wonder for the weary soul. No wonder why the place is a must-see-and-visit when one goes to Aklan. No question why Leila and Linda and all the others who have gone to visit, see, and swim in Jawili were are enamored by its innate beauty.

How about you? This summer, probably?
