THE descendants of the family of the late Glicerio Javellana y Sison took time on Easter Sunday to bring together their family members in a reunion, tagging its affair as “Love Will Bring You Home.”

Some members from Metro Manila like Bon and Nina Intengan of White Plains Subdivision brought along their children Angelo and daughter Giselle with hubby Paolo Villanueva and son Joaquin to the Javellana Ancestral Home in Bago City.

It was a fun-filled weekend as they commenced their family gathering on Good Friday with a procession of the images usually brought out for the Holy Week.

Saturday was filled with a family encounter and some messages by clan members like Humberto J. Colmenares who arrived from the United States and a very young student and preacher Nicole Javellana-Locsin and more.

The Javellana clan is an original family line from Iloilo City and decades ago some migrated to Negros Occidental, more so in Bago City where the family has grown into a big family starting their entrepreneurship and business directions in sugarcane farming.

From then the Javellanas are still in the sugar industry and spread to palay farming and other entrepreneurial endeavors.

The four Lolas of the Javellana clan have extended their philanthropic act as they were able to send hundreds of deserving residents of Bago City to school. Referred as the Sons and Daughters of Javellana, these fortunate Negrenses are now in the various fields of endeavors.
