CARLO Reyes Hair Salon is one of the best beauty parlors in the Philippines. It has 43 branches nationwide. It started with humble beginnings 31 years ago with its first salon located along Recto Avenue, Metro Manila.

Mr. Carlo Reyes is the younger brother of world-renowned hair and makeup stylist Mr. Ricky Reyes. They support each other not only as brothers, but also as businessmen in the same field.

Carlo Reyes Hair Salon has four branches in Bacolod City. The first one is located along Hernaez Street fronting Tay Tung High School that opened 10 years ago. It was followed by another branch near University of St. La Salle.

Last February, a third branch was opened at the Eusebio Building or formerly the grand dame Servando's Department Store. The latest and newest is the one I am featuring which is located at Rizal Street fronting Victorina Arcade. It is managed by Mr. Richard Sugabo.

I was invited along with two MWAH models Razel John Bantolo and Treni Rivera (Miss Talisay and the fourth runner-up of Lin-ay sang Negros 2014, where she was also chosen Miss Photogenic) by Mrs. Maritess Alban, the beautiful and hardworking area manager for the Visayas and Mindanao of Carlo Reyes Hair Salon, to visit their newly opened fourth branch.

As we came in, we were warmly welcomed by Mrs. Alban and the good-looking DJ of Easy Rock, Christian San Juan, who is also the National Sales marketing manager of Carlo Reyes Salon.

I was so impressed of their newest branch in this city. It is so clean and the interior is fabulous where they have a lounge area that is so relaxing that you will be stress-free while you are having a manicure, pedicure, and foot spa.

In the working area, the interior is classy where the services for haircut and make-up, hot oil, hair spa and the hair rebond are usually done. And not to be outdone are the modern and state-of- the-art equipment they are using for the said services.
As I chatted with Ms. Tess, MWA models Razeljohn and Treni are being treated like prince and princess. We wanted to compare their looks before and after the hair and makeup services.

Ms. Tess told me that they are in the business of making people look good and feel good, which is its vision and mission. With Carlo Reyes Hair Salon, you don’t need to pay a fortune to look good or better because they have very affordable prices.

For haircut with shampoo and blowdry, it is only P49.99, hot oil for any length for only P99, hair spa at P199.99 pesos, hair dye minimum is P350 and maximum is P600 pesos. Hair rebond is only P999.99 pesos. To top it all, availing of the said services, it goes with a free haircut and free head and shoulder massage where the Carlo Reyes Hair Salon is famous for.

Ms. Tess stressed that their main concern is to entertaining the clients well. The moment the client steps inside the beauty parlor, the staff gives them beauty advises, and identify their health concerns that must be considered in the services. The manicure and pedicure sets are all sterilized after use.

Indeed, Carlos Reyes Hair Salon makes people look good and feel good.*
