IT WAS a wedding that spelled elegance. Attention to details was not left to chance—everything that night was flawlessly classy.

It was the wedding of Denise Sicangco Arellano and David Tran, a Vietnamese who was born and raised in Houston, Texas.

The romance of David and Denise is quite interesting. They met as students of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Denise graduated as summa cum laude and David was magna cum laude.

Denise majored in accessories namely, handbags and shoes while David’s expertise is footwear design. In their quest for their love of shoes and bags and everything that completes a wardrobe from looking plain to excellent, awards have come their way. Best in this…best in that…

But this mutual avocation led to real love and the two lovers despite living in New York chose the special day to be solemnized here in Bacolod at the Virgen Sang Barangay Chapel at the Sta. Clara Subdivision at four in the afternoon.

Family and friends from Manila and the all the way from Houston and Vietnam came not only to witness David and Denise promise to each other their love and devotion but also for the fun party that followed at The Ruins, which stood proud and stately elegant completing the picture perfect celebration.

The setting was exquisite, the food was great, the guests were fabulous and the bride and groom joyful, joyful-happy!

Best wishes and congratulations to David and Denise! May you have many happy and bountiful years of love and accessories!
