MY GOOD friend Dwight Morana Jr., the very active secretary of WEPON (Wedding and Event Planners Organization of Negros, Inc.), invited me to the opening of a bridal fair “to end the June brides’ fever” at the posh L'Fisher Hotel last week.

The event was spearheaded by WEPON, led by its pretty president Pinky Mirano-Ocampo, in partnership with L'Fisher Hotel.

As expected, it was a success and it helped couples, who will be marrying in a few months, decide among many suppliers who are essentials on the success of their wedding.

The exhibitors at the bridal fair were suppliers from coordinators, photo and video, flowers, emcees and others like: DA Works Events & Weddings by Dwight Morana Jr.; My Choice Party Shop by Pinky Mirano-Ocampo; Personal Touches by Ellen Lindaya;

Unlimited Occasions by Kayte Aguilar-Matiling; Your Event Specialist by Joedel Morante; Motion by Edgar Pama; Iyo Gaudite Photography; Louise & Co.; Carvi Upholstery; Grilled Cheese Studios;

Amelvins Touch Flowers; Calishoots by Randy Calipusan; Midorimon by Quincy John Tampo; Concept Media by Romel Balon; Belle Visage by Kez Sayat-Pedrosa; Jes Photoworks by Jesse Narazzo; Psalms Audio;

John John Ditching; Benjie Borja; Bacolod Beads; D' Bakers by Jane Dy-Guevarra; SKT Digital Productions by Kieron Tan; Red Apple Studios; L'Fisher Chalet; C's;

Greenlilies Flower Shop by Issa L. Chua; Owen Segovia-Bayog; Crinik Media by Jeremy Abanil; Bert Gomez; Mike Facebooth;
Julius Dinurog; Carlos Durana; DJ Leandro Zayco & the Patikeros;
J Studios; Cyrus Alcala; Charles Kevin Tan; Jelliane Rose Dinurog; Gage Talent Pool; and Mayk Pericon Photography.

The three-day bridal fair from June 25 to 27 was highlighted with a bridal fashion show featuring the real brides of WEPON
namely: Love Vijandre-Yap (Bride of Pinky Mirano-Ocampo), gown by Tony de Ramos; Kamaljit Bapla (Bride of Dwight Morana Jr.), gown made customized from India; Genesis Sision (Bride of Joedel Morante), gown by Ysabelle's Bridals; Camilla (model of Kayte Aguilar-Matiling wearing Kayte's gown), gown by Patis Tesoro and Karina Nisol-Garcia (Bride of Ellen Lindaya).

Hair and makeup during the fashion show were done by Kez Sayat-Pedrosa of Belle Visage, Julius Dinurog & Co. and Benjie Borja.

The fashion show was hosted by Cyrus Alcala and serenaded by Charles Kevin Tan and his fabulous string quartet.
