5 injured in stabbing

FIVE men were injured in a stabbing incident due to misunderstanding Sunday morning at BMMC Compound, Barangay 41, Bacolod City.
Station 4 case investigator PO2 Sherwin Rojas identified the victims as Roger Jimenez, 30, of Barangay Conception, Talisay City; Angelo and Arnel Belogorio, both residents of Don Salvador, Benedicto; Farly and Joselito Ogatiz, both residents of Purok Bato, Barangay Alegria, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
Rojas said Jimenez, Angelo, Arnel, and Farly sustained stab wounds in different parts of their bodies after they were allegedly stabbed by certain Junior, Nelson and Teddy, of Barangay 27, Bacolod City while Joselito sustained injuries in different parts of his body when he tried to pacify the suspects but suddenly a certain Teddy hit his mouth with a bamboo.
Initial investigation showed that around 12:30 a.m. while the victims and the suspects were having drinking spree at BMMC Compound, the suspects allegedly stabbed the victims due to misunderstanding and fled.
Rojas said the victims were immediately rushed to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital for medical treatment while Station 4 is still conducting further investigation to identify and arrest the suspects.
