Frustrated homicide suspect arrested-A A +A

A MAN with a pending warrant of arrest for frustrated homicide was collared by operatives of Station 6 at Barangay 40, Bacolod City, Saturday.
Station 6 commander Chief Inspector Placido Gentoleo identified the suspect as John Mark Millendez alias ‘Idot’, 23, of Purok Katilingban, Barangay 40, Bacolod.
Gentoleo said Millendez was arrested at about 4:20 p.m. by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge George Patriarca, Branch 46, of the Regional Trial Court in Bacolod City with P24,000 bail recommended for his temporary liberty.
He said the suspect is presently detained at the lockup cell of Station 10.
Meanwhile, a 21-year-old was also arrested by operatives of Station 1 along Gonzaga-San Juan Street for illegal possession of firearms Friday.
Station 1 commander Chief Inspector Ulysses Ortiz identified the suspect as Marlon De Ocampo of Barangay Handumanan, who was nailed at about 8:50 a.m.
Police recovered from his possession one improvised shotgun and one live ammunition for a 12 gauge. (Merlinda A. Pedrosa)
