4 city police stations have new chiefs

FOUR out of the 10 police stations under the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) will have new station commanders effective February 1, police director Ricardo De la Paz said Monday.

De la Paz said Station 2 commander, Senior Inspector Lester Leada, will be assigned to the Operation Branch and will be replaced by Station 10 chief Senior Inspector Robert Dejucos.

Dejucos will be replaced by Operation Branch deputy Senior Inspector Terence Paul Sta. Ana.

Station 6 commander Senior Inspector Placido Gentoleo will be replaced by Operation Branch chief Senior Inspector Noel Polines. Gentoleo will replace Station 9 commander Senior Inspector Jeffrey Attunaga who will be assigned as deputy in Operation Branch, De la Paz added.

He said there will be also some reshuffling in personnel at BCPO headquarters.

Senior Inspector Lanel Mae Ree Lanado will be assigned as deputy chief in Station 2, Senior Inspector Ruel Culanag will be deputy of Station 6, Inspector Emmanuel Misajon will be deputy of Station 7 and Inspector Carmelo Nermal will be deputy of Station 10.

Senior Inspector Leilanie Garcia will head the Human Resource and Development Division, Senior Inspector Ritchie Gohee will be deputy of Police Community Relation and Senior Inspector Charles Gever will head the Warrant and Subpoena Section.

Special Operation Group head Police Superintendent Santiago Rapiz will be concurrently be the spokesperson of BCPO.

The city director stressed the reshuffling of officers is a routine activity of the Philippine National Police, citing that some of the affected officer were promoted and they should be also given a chance to hold a unit, while some of the station commanders are already over staying in their posts and need to be replaced.
