Free movie privilege to senior citizens sought

THE Bacolod City Council approved a resolution requesting Mayor Evelio Leonardia to implement and enforce City Ordinance 501, Series of 2009, or an ordinance granting free movie privilege to all qualified senior citizens of Bacolod City.
It said C.O. 501 was enacted by the council on July 29, 2009, authored by Councilor Dindo Ramos.

It said in order for this ordinance to be fully enjoyed by the senior citizens, it is requested that the mayor direct the city legal officer to draft a memorandum of agreement between the City Government and the operators of movie houses and theaters.
