Based on court records, the cases stemmed from the incident last August 10, 2011 when Romeo Lavilla Jr., chief of the Enforcement Division of the OBO, along with his team, made an inspection of MZC Water Refilling station owned by Myrna Chan, wife of Lindy Chan.
Chan allegedly threatened, intimidated and head-butted Lavilla, causing a contusion on Lavilla’s forehead.
Chan also allegedly uttered unpalatable words against Lavilla.
The court set bail at P6,000 for Chan’s temporary liberty for perjury and P12,000 for direct assault. (TED)
