Police, Army donate blood on Valentine's Day

MEMBERS of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) and Philippine Army joined Tuesday the Valentine's bloodletting activity of Aksyon Radyo at Lopues East, Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City.
BCPO director Ricardo De la Paz said they support the bloodletting activity to help people who are in need of blood donations.

De la Paz said he ordered the different station commanders to join in said activity to donate their blood.
"Through this, we help those who need our help in terms of blood donation," he said, adding that it is one way to help those who are in critical situation in order to support their life.
He added that it is a noble activity to donate blood during Valentine's Day celebration.
Hundreds of personnel from the BCPO, Philippine Army, Regional Training School, Public Safety Company, BCPO Press Corps and some agencies joined the bloodletting activity at Lopues East.
BCPO Press Corps president Eric Magbanua, Aksyon Radyo anchorman/reporter, said they are thankful for the support of police personnel, military, Provincial Health Office and some agencies who helped and donated their blood for those who are in need.
