P28M Mambukal resort upgrade nears completion

THE P28-million worth of improvements infused by the Provincial Government at the Mambukal resort is now near completion.
Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. said the four cottages, which were already completed, are set to be turned over to the Provincial Government next week.

Seven new cottages are being constructed at the Mambukal resort.
Marañon said the resort continues to be one of the tourism destinations in the province and, in fact, is fully booked every summer.
Numerous foreign tourists come to the resort, which is now managed and operated by the Provincial Government.
It is also one income generating ventures of the Capitol under the Economic Enterprise and Development Department (EEDD). (TE)
