POLICE Regional Office–Western Visayas Director Chief Supt. Cipriano Querol Jr. lauded Tuesday the accomplishments of City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group (CAIDSOTG) on their campaign against illegal drugs in Bacolod City.
Querol was the guest of honor and speaker in the Independence Day celebration in Bago City on Tuesday.
Querol said the CAIDSOTG led by Supt. Santiago Rapiz has a "very good" performance in the campaign against illegal drugs, claiming that every day he received accomplishment reports from Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) Operations Branch.
"CAIDSOTG has very remarkable accomplishments on their campaign against illegal drugs in Bacolod City, and I’m very satisfied,” he said.
Querol also compared the performance of Rapiz to the former head of CAIDSOTG Senior Insp. Joemarie Occeño, who was recently relieved and was transferred to Antique Police Provincial Office.
He cited that every day, CAIDSOTG arrests about two or three drug suspects, unlike before where he didn’t receive any accomplishments reports.
Last Monday, Querol also give the Medalya ng Kasanayan to the personnel of CAIDSOTG at the Police Regional Office–Western Visayas (PRO-6) for their recent accomplishments in the campaign against illegal drugs in Bacolod.
He said, with the recent accomplishments of CAIDSOTG, there’s no need for BCPO to put any task force to intensify the campaign against illegal drugs, unlike in Iloilo City where three task forces were created to go against illegal drugs.
"I commended BCPO Director Senior Supt. Ricardo De la Paz and Rapiz for a job well done,” he said.
