NBI raids cop's house

NBI regional director Manuel Almendares said that on April 8, 2013, they received a certification from the Firearms and Explosives Division of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in Camp Crame that Noble possesses unlicensed firearms.
High Court issues TRO on liquor ban extension
Thursday, May 9, 2013 - 01:07 a.m.PURSUANT to the Commission on Elections (Comelec) Minute Resolution No. 13-0322, the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) declared on Wednesday that it was ready to strictly implement the five-day liquor ban which is supposedly set to start today, May 9 until May 13.
BCPO spokesperson Supt. Armando Tubongbanua said during the press conference at the BCPO headquarters Wednesday that they will intensify its implementation to ensure peace and order a few days before and during the election.
Western Visayas police ready more forces for polls

Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr., PRO regional director, said that out of 2,287 police personnel ready for deployment, 273 are coming from the Regional Headquarters/National Support Units (NSUs), 314 from the Regional Public Safety Battalion 6 (RPSB6), 35 Lateral Entry undergoing training, 420 new graduates of Scout, 269 undergoing schooling (Public Safety Senior Leadership Course and Public Safety Junior Leadership Course), 164 undergoing Public Safety Basic Recruit Course, 480 Field Trainees, 120 from Police Special Action Force and 212 excess from Bacolod City/Iloilo City Police Offices.

Koko vows support for sugar industry

Castellano and his brother in-law Jay R Ferrer on Sunday demanded anew from Cana to settle the damage caused by his driver and his Fiera jeep when he bumped the Nissan Sentra (Sedan) parked at Tanguile St., Villamonte last April 9.
