THE Acropolis Gardens, sanctuary for memorialization and cremation facility of Teresa Development Corporation (TDC), inaugurated Wednesday its new building within the Rose Lawns Compound at Barangay Bata, Bacolod City.
The inauguration was led by TDC chief executive officer Ramon Lacson, Jr., Acropolis Gardens president Geraldine Marie Ramos, 3rd district Representative Albee Benitez and Vice Governor Genaro Alvarez.
Lacson said the Acropolis Gardens offers high-end quality services but at an affordable and reasonable cost.
“We want the people of Negros Occidental to avail of this kind of services,” Lacson said.
He said the 1.8-hectare Acropolis Gardens presents an exceptional integrated approach to memorialization set within landscaped gardens wherein clustered chapels display Greek-inspired design.
Meanwhile, Ramos said that to give professional and expedient memorial service, the whole complex provides administration building/sales office, preparation and dressing rooms, crematorium, viewing rooms, casket and urn showroom, private waiting lounges for family members, chapel, memorial chapels or wake rooms of different types and multi-purpose hall for mass or receptions.
She said the place may be very beautiful but it was not built to create dynamism in terms of the price.
“We want a very good place where families can enjoy the garden,” she said.
She said the facility comes with a Wi-Fi zone courtyard that has eight private chapels equipped with powder rooms, kitchenette and a telephone unit. (Merlinda A. Pedrosa)
