BACOLOD City lone district Representative Anthony Golez Jr. in a radio on Saturday said that he completed his two-week course on Driving Corporate Performance at Harvard Business School in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Driving Corporate Performance Program is designed for corporate senior executives and other professionals with planning, control and accounting responsibility to enable them to master the principles and practical application of powerful new systems, a press release from Golez stated.
Golez said that he was happy to attend a short course in a prestigious international school like Harvard where he learned new inputs that will help him in his congressional work.
Golez expressed pride in being part of the class where his classmates were top executives of big companies such as General Electric, NLNG manning company and oil companies.
Golez admitted that there was pressure in the class, given the high quality of education at Harvard. He said he was also grateful to be part of the international educational institution where ten US presidents have studied.
He said he underwent a month-long screening as part of the admissions process in Harvard Business School. (Carla N. Canet)
