THE Katilingban sang Paghili-usa (Kasanag) partnered with the Metro Ormoc Community Cooperative in its feeding programs and medical missions.
John Chiong, KASANAG founder and president, and MOCC Bacolod Branch Manager Alvin Tagalogon signed a memorandum of agreement yesterday to formalize their partnership which aims to help the indigent and less privileged members of the community.
Chiong said that it has been the passion of the organization to extend the needed medical services that the poor can hardly afford, citing that poor people sometimes ignore their medical needs due to lack of resources.
Kasanag and its donors try their best to see to it that these needs are well provided to these poor members of the community, said Chiong who intimated that they might also go into a cooperative venture with the help of MOCC.
Recently, Kasanag conducted a medical mission for senior citizens and single parents at Eroreco, Barangay Mandalagan, Bacolod City.
