THE Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) is now preparing for the upcoming national Annual General Inspection-Operational Readiness Security Inspection (Agi-Orsite) this August.
De la Paz said Thursday that inspectors from Camp Crame are expected to visit Bacolod to conduct an inspection and audit in BCPO as well as in different police stations.
In line with the upcoming inspection, the members of Special Weapons and Tactics held Thursday a demonstration at the BCPO Compound on how to respond to incidents such as hostage crisis, bank robbery, bombings, and other activities to form the crisis management scenario.
De la Paz said the inspectors from Camp Crame will check the BCPO's records and the operational readiness of police office in case of critical incidents, such as bank robberies and hostage-taking.
Inspectors will also check whether police personnel are complying with the correct wearing of uniform and with other directives or policies of the national office.
The Agi-Orsite is a simultaneous activity in the country, in line with the Philippine National Police's drive for continued improvement among its personnel in responsiveness to crime and calamities.
De la Paz said they are still waiting for the directive on the exact date of the Agi-Orsite inspection.
