Seven students nabbed inside school for pot session

SEVEN high school students were nabbed after being caught of having pot session inside Mansilingan Agro-Industrial High School, Barangay Mansilingan, in this city Friday morning.
Operatives of Station 7 Police Chief Inspector Levy Pangue identified the suspects namely: Charles Apenan, of Purok Paghedait, Barangay Mansilingan; JunJun Tarlac, 18, of Purok Bakyas Laurel, Barangay Mansilingan; and Jonalyn Quisada, 18, of Barangay Handumanan, Bacolod City while the other four are minors whose names are being withheld.
The police responded in the area around 10:30 a.m. in the school campus, where the 2nd and 3rd year students were caught in the act and were then arrested, adding that the apprehension of the students is a result of the drug information drive conducted last week by the police in different public schools in the city.
Pangue said the students will undergo drug testing and counseling at the Social Development Center (SDC). He said Apenan, Tarlac and Quisada are presently detained at the lock up cell of Station 7 while the four minors are presently in the custody of SDC.
Pangue added they will continue their drug information drive in different public schools to eliminate the gangs inside the school campus.
