Game fowl farm helper killed

A HELPER of a game fowl breeder was found dead with several wounds in different parts of his body Monday morning at Purok Madre Cacao, Sta. Cruz, Murcia town, Negros Occidental.
Murcia police case investigator Senior Police Officer 4 Anthony Lorenzo identified the victim as Ricky Ancha, 41, a native of Sonedco, Kabankalan City and temporarily staying at Purok Madre Cacao, Sta. Cruz, Murcia.
Lorenzo said Ancha was found dead with several wounds in different parts of his body around 7 a.m. in front of the cock farm of Engr. Gilberto Bocantija where he was working as a helper.
Investigation showed that around 7 p.m. Sunday, Ancha went outside the compound to buy ingredients for their food but was unable to return.
At 7 a.m. Monday, he was found dead by his son in front of the compound.
Lorenzo said Ancha's body will be subjected to an autopsy.
He said they are still conducting further investigation to determine the motive and the suspects behind the killing.
