Man nabbed for stealing cable wires

A THEFT suspect was arrested by operatives of Station 7 after the was caught stealing cable wires at Hacienda Guanzon, Barangay Mansilingan, this city Wednesday morning.
Station 7 commander Levy Pangue identified the suspect as Resty Calago, 36, of Barangay Imalinong, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Pangue said the suspect was arrested after he was caught in the act stealing cable wires worth P91,550 at Hacienda Guanzon at 3 a.m.
Police recovered from him one knapsack containing assorted rolled electrical cable wires and one set of pole clamps.
Pangue said they will also inform the owner of the cable wires for the filing of charges against the suspect who is presently detained at the lock up cell of Station 7.
Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) Director Ricardo De la Paz commended the accomplishment of Station 7 for the apprehension of the suspect who is suspected of being responsible for previous reported cases of cable wire thefts in the area. (Merlinda A. Pedrosa)
