Couple nabbed for frustrated murder

A COUPLE with pending arrest warrant was nabbed by operatives of Station 1 at Galo-Lopez Jaena Streets, Bacolod City, Tuesday afternoon.
Station 1 commander Adonis Rosales identified the suspect as Erwin Flores and his wife Wilma, both residents of Purok Kapayas, Barangay Poblacion, Bago City, Negros Occidental. They were arrested around 5:30 p.m.
The couple was nabbed by virtue of arrest warrant for frustrated murder issued by Judge Frances Guanzon of Regional Trial Court Branch 62, Bago City, with P200,000 each bail for their temporary liberty.
Rosales said the suspects are presently detained at the lock-up cell of Station 1.
In another incident, a sexagenarian with pending arrest warrant was nabbed in a joint operation by Task Force Manhunt and Station 4 at Burgos Street, Bacolod City, Tuesday evening.
Task Force Manhunt head Police Chief Inspector Ulysses Ortiz identified the suspect as Edmundo Lao, 62, of Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City.
He was nabbed by virtue of arrest warrant for grave coercion issued by Judge Philadelfa Pagapong-Agraviador of RTC Branch 43, Bacolod City with P80,000 bail recommended for his temporary liberty. (MAP)
