BACOLOD City lone district Representative Anthony Golez Jr. is now barred from residing at their conjugal house acquired with estranged wife Princess Soraya after it was padlocked last Friday by the lawmaker’s wife herself with her lawyer and law enforcers.
Located at Barangay Mandalagan, Bacolod City, the said house was bought by the couple when they decided to live here before Golez was elected as Bacolod's representative to Congress.
Police Officer 2 Gilbert Alunan of Police Station 2 escorted Princess Soraya Golez and her lawyer Howard Calleja when she came here.
Princess Soraya presented the Temporary Protection Order (TPO) dated September 2, 2012 issued by Judge Angele Mary Quimpo Sale of the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 106.
Alunan said they arrived at the Golez residence around 7:30 p.m. last Friday but the lawmaker was not around.
He said Princess Soraya entered the house and took photos. She also asked the househelpers to stay out as she will padlock the house.
Alunan said that barangay captain Elvis Agsam of Mandalagan, along with a sheriff from the Quezon City Regional Trial Court, was also with them when serving the TPO.
Golez could not be reached for comment as of Sunday.
