BACOLOD City Vice Mayor Jude Thaddeus Sayson celebrated his 49th birthday on Thursday and he wished for good health, peace and a new mandate comes the 2013 election as he seriously considers to run for mayor of Bacolod.
Sayson celebrated his birthday at Planta Hotel with his family, colleagues, barangay leaders, classmates, friends and supporters.
The celebration was fun and many well wishers came to greet the Vice Mayor on his special day.
He hopes that more investments will come to Bacolod so that many people can benefit.
Sayson recalled that when he graduated from college, he never thought of joining politics despite the fact that his parents were former Vice Mayors of Bacolod.
"Politics was farthest in my mind. But because of the prodding of the people who knew me, I ended up in public service. I never regret the day that I joined politics, as I have helped many people. Seeing some of them makes my heart grow big," he said.
As to his plan to run for mayor, he hopes that the people of Bacolod will support him so that he could continue serving the people.
