Councilor Espino to reserve options

COUNCILOR Al Victor Espino said he will reserve his options after he was not chosen by the Nationalist People's Coalition (NPC) for vice mayoralty bet, which was given to former City Councilor Greg Gasataya.
Espino who was supposed to run for vice mayor in the 2013 polls has accepted the NPC’s decision to choose Gasataya.
"My original stand ever since is that the choice would come from the NPC party and Gasataya is part of the group. Although the nomination came from behind because I never saw it personally that he was chosen. But I accept the decision of the party. The important thing is that Atty. Renecito Novero was not chosen from among the list of probables," Espino said.
Espino will be completing his full three terms as councilor.
"I am very happy that I will conclude my political career as councilor for 12 years. I gave my best service to the city and, in fact, I will be living with a P300 million plus gift to Bacolod City by way of the Revised Revenue Code implementation which will bolster the financial status and capacity of the city," he said.
