A MINOR, allegedly a solvent user, was found dead with multiple stab wounds Wednesday morning at Bonifacio Street along downtown area in Bacolod City.
Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) Director Ricardo De la Paz identified the victim as Michael Donesa, 13, and resident of Hinigaran town, Negros Occidental.
He said the victim was found dead around 1:30 a.m. at Bonifacio Street with multiple wounds in different parts of his body.
Witnesses said that around midnight, someone called the victim to sleep but, after an hour, the victim was found dead and full of blood.
According to De la Paz, the victim was involved in some robbery incidents in Bacolod and was also a regular detainee at the Social Development Center for rehabilitation.
He said the suspects tried to clean the crime scene after the incident, noting that the victim was pulled about 30 steps away from where he was apparently killed.
De la Paz said the Women and Children Complaints Desk is now conducting further investigation to identify the suspects who are believed to be minors staying in the downtown area.
