BCPO chief hailed as Best Senior Field Commission PCO in Western Visayas

BACOLOD City Police Office (BCPO) Director Ricardo De la Paz was hailed as the Best Senior Field Commission Police Commissioned Officer in Western Visayas today, Friday, at the Camp Martin Delgado, Iloilo City.
The awarding ceremony is part of the 111th Police Service anniversary celebration.
The BCPO will be awarded as Best City Police Office while other police officers in Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Noppo) will also receive their awards.
The awarding ceremony will be attended by Philippine National Police (PNP) Director General Nicanor Bartolome as guest of honor and speaker.
De la Paz said Thursday that the BCPO Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD) led by Police Inspector Jovy Cabcaban will also be awarded as Best WCPD in highly urbanized city, while the La Castellana Police Station will be awarded as Best WCPD in Municipal Station and Cadiz City as Best WCPD in component city.
He said the cities of Bacolod and San Carlos as well as the Province of Negros Occidental will also be honored as Best Supportive Local Government Units (LGU).
De la Paz added the 2nd Maneuver Company of the 6th Regional Public Safety Battalion was also adjudged as Best Maneuver Company.
The city director thanked the BCPO personnel and the LGUs for their support which led to the said awards. (Merlinda A. Pedrosa)
