Drug pusher nabbed in PDEA buy-bust

AN ALLEGED drug pusher was arrested in buy-bust operation by operatives of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Western Visayas at Barangay 31, Bacolod City Thursday afternoon.
Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) Spokesperson Police Superintendent Santiago Rapiz identified the suspect as Jowar Elbabuena, 32, of Santa Ana Street, Barangay 31, Bacolod.
Rapiz said the suspect was arrested in the operation of PDEA-6 led by SPO2 Elmer Ebona when he handed to police poseur buyer two small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected “shabu” in exchange of P500 marked money.
The operatives recovered from him two pieces of small heated sealed transparent plastic of shabu, P500 marked money, a disposable lighter, and tooter.
After the apprehension of Elbabuena, he was immediately endorsed to Station 6 for the filing of charges against him, Rapiz said. (Merlinda A. Pedrosa)
