CHARGES for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed today, Tuesday, before the City Prosecutor’s Office against the three suspects who were nabbed in stakeout operation.
The operation was conducted by the operatives of City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Group (CAIDSOTG) at Eusebio Arcade II Building, Lacson Street, Bacolod City at 4:30 a.m. last Saturday after the suspects were caught in the act of having a pot session inside the building.

Rapiz said the three suspects were examined positive on the use of illegal drugs which was conducted by Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Noppo) crime laboratory.
Police recovered from them one big plastic sachet containing suspected “shabu” with market value of P15,000, four pieces of disposable lighters, scissor, plastic straw with visible traces of shabu and several empty plastic sachets.
Rapiz said the suspects were also drug pushers, noting that the suspects also admitted that they engaged on illegal drug trade in the city.
He said they had identified the drug suppliers of the suspects but he refused to divulge their names for further follow-up operations.
He added they received information that there were some professionals in the city who engaged on illegal drugs activity.
