A DRUG pusher with pending arrest warrant was nabbed by operatives of City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group (CAIDSOTG) at Purok Tilapia, Barangay 3, Bacolod City, Wednesday afternoon while her live-in partner, who is also wanted by police, managed to escape.
CAIDSOTG head Police Superintendent Santiago Rapiz identified the suspect as Jinalyn Jimena alias “Charity,” 27, of Purok Tahong, Barangay 2, Bacolod City, who was arrested around 5:30 p.m. while her live-in partner alias "Nonoy Amantillo" is still at large.
Rapiz said Jimena was arrested by virtue of arrest warrant for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Drugs Act of 2002 issued by Judge Anita Guanzon-Chua of Regional Trial Court Branch 39, Bacolod with no bail recommended.
He said the suspect is presently detained at the lock-up cell of Bacolod City Police Office headquarters.
Recently, the suspect and her live-in partner managed to escape during a buy-bust operation by CAIDSOTG in Barangay 2 where several plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and “blue book” were recovered from their possession.
Rapiz said during the interrogation, Jimena denied the participation of some police officers listed in the “blue book.”
Rapiz said Jimena is an active drug pusher in Bacolod City and she earned about P150,000 a day on the selling of illegal drugs. (MAP)
